Another special thing about Metabolic Meltdown is that, when you’re working out, you’re working out next to moms, you’re working out next to doctors, you’re working out next to lawyers, you’re working out with a lot of different people men and women. The fact that you see them pushing themselves just as hard if not harder than you is motivating.
Tell Us About Yourself. My name is Lucious Jordan. I’ve been a member of Metabolic Meltdown for 8 months now. Right now I’m a college basketball coach at Siena College. Every day, my morning starts with getting up about 6-6:15. Get myself ready, I leave my house about 6:30 and I get a good workout in here at Metabolic Meltdown at 7 a.m. Monday to Friday. I try to come in on a Saturday as well. I’m not a coffee guy so the workouts here in the morning kinda get me going.
What Are Some Things You Like About The Workout? One of the things that kind of got me addicted to Metabolic Meltdown is that, you want to look for that challenge. When you’re an athlete, you’re a former athlete, you’re always high pace, high energy, high speed all day you know, practicing for three hours in college and the pros I was a professional as well, I’m working out four to five days a week I mean four to five hours a day, and now with this, you know, you’re getting a high intensity workout. It’s really a challenge. You know there’s women here that I’ve seen doing more weight than some of the men are and I think for me ah that’s very motivating. It motivates me even more to go harder and it’s cool because sometimes you’re dying trying to go through this last set and you can hardly get up. You look to your right or you look to your left and you see somebody going through the same struggle.
Is Metabolic Meltdown Really Addicting? The #METAddiction is extremely real, you hear it, you see it…it is real. I came here for my first week. I said, let me try something new, I’m used to lifting weights and running on a treadmill or whatever the case would be for my cardio. So my first week here it really kicked my butt. Like I was finished. I was drained. But, I needed to come back for more, this can’t be the same thing every week. I had to defeat this, I have to conquer this hard work out…. and you can’t because it’s something different every single day and that’s kinda what I love about it. You don’t know what to expect. There’s gonna be a new workout, a new challenge. Day after day, and you get addicted to it. You get addicted to the music being played, you get addicted to what challenge I’m gonna have the next day, you get addicted to seeing different people pushing themselves, you get addicted to seeing results in the mirror. I actually go to sleep thinking myself I can’t wait to get up and go to Metabolic Meltdown for a great workout.
Would you Recommend Metabolic Meltdown? Yes, absolutely. I will recommend this place to anybody whether your athlete, whether you’re a mother, male, female, whatever shape or size, whatever shape you are currently in. I think this is one of the best workouts that you can do because you’re getting the best of both worlds with strength and cardio. Doing this is challenging and I always say the best result comes with the challenge-it’s great to be a part of.
